Achieving good health in the most meaningful way.

Meet Kristine (she/her)

After graduating from the University of Alberta with a BScPT in 1999, Kristine spent several years exploring different practice settings before finding her groove in private practice physio in St Albert in 2004.

An observer of people, Kris has always been fascinated with how people move through this world. Part of Kristine’s curiosity in becoming a physical therapist initially came from the desire to work with people along their journey to good health. Now, her professional journey is one of complete curiosity and fascination with the human experience, and the desire to truly help people experience moving through life with the most ease possible.

Kris is a physio nerd who is constantly striving to learn more and better understand how we fit together and how she can better help her clients. She is constantly taking professional

development courses and learning and growing as a therapist. She is the first Albertan certified in the Integrated Systems Model of Assessment and Treatment (Diane Lee) and also trained with LJ Lee in both ConnectTherapy™ and the Thoracic Ring Approach™ . She has trained extensively in visceral manipulation, neural manipulation, and craniosacral therapies through the Barral Institute, is certified in Anatomical Acupuncture, and is currently working towards her 500hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification.

Outside of the clinic, Kris can be found playing outside on her bike, skis or on a hiking trail, trying to master a handstand on her yoga mat, or planning some kind of adventure with whoever she can convince to join her shenanigans.

Meet Andrea (she/her)

Andrea has always been a mover. From dancing and playing competitive soccer to participating in various team sports, she developed a deep fascination with how movement is created and how it impacts the body. This passion led her naturally to physical therapy, where she could learn from others, connect with them, and create positive change.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen's University in 2004, Andrea began practicing in St. Albert in 2006. She is trained in the Integrated Systems Model, Connect Therapy™, and the Thoracic Ring Approach™. Her opportunity to learn from Diane Lee and Dr. Linda-Joy Lee truly shaped her practice, pushing her to explore the intricate connections within the body and how a person’s story influences their healing journey.

In addition to her foundational training, Andrea has pursued further education in visceral manipulation, neural manipulation, and a range of manual therapy and movement-based techniques. She is also certified in Anatomical Acupuncture. Always an eternal student, Andrea continues to expand her knowledge to better serve her patients. Most recently, she has been learning about peri-menopause and menopause, and how to best support clients through these life stages and their evolving movement goals.

While Andrea enjoys working with all types of patients, she has a particular passion for helping artistic athletes (i.e. dancers and skaters) enhance the quality of their performance while preventing injuries.

Outside of the clinic, Andrea loves staying active. You’ll often find her running or walking with her dog Chance, biking to a local coffee shop or brewery, and at the gym or dance class. She’s also busy chauffeuring kids between hockey arenas, soccer fields, and baseball diamonds. When she’s not on the go, she enjoys creative projects, especially decorating spaces. Most of all, Andrea cherishes time spent with friends and family, it’s these connections that truly fill her cup.

We empower our clients to understand all aspects of their pain, injury or symptoms. We will help you understand how to best influence your own health and healing, and provide you with strategies and skills to do so.

We can help.
